11/19/12 blog post
Today in class, we read over the remainder of chapter eight of Uncle Tom's Cabin. We then discussed what was going on in the story, as well as discussed the Fugative Slave Law. We discussed what the repercussions from helping a slave would be under the Fugative Slave Law, as well as what would be considered assisting a slave in their escape. This was a follow up to our lesson on Friday, in which we read over chapter eight of Uncle Tom's Cabin, after discussing the process of the underground railroad.
So far on Python, I have continued to learn to make calculation programs that perform simple mathematical functions, through the tutorial that I discussed before, as well as learn more about the properties and uses of loops.
